Bangkok International Airports
There are two international airports located in Bangkok
- Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK)
- Don Muang International Airport (DMK)
Transfer Buses between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Muang Airport
- Free airport shuttle bus for passenger links between Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Muang Airport. The journey between two airports is around 1 hour. The service time is daily from 5.00 hr. to 24.00 hr. Call center: 02-132-9199
- Departure from Suvarnabhumi: located on 2nd floor, exit Gate 3
- Departure from Don Muang: located at Terminal 2, on 1st floor, exit Gate 15
From Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Swissotel Le Concorde
- By Airport Rail Link
The Airport Rail Link Station is located at Terminal 1 on basement (B Floor). The train operates daily from 6.00 hr. to 24.00 hr. Take the City Line to Makkasan MRT Station (around 30 min.), take to the Blue Line to Huai Khwang MRT Station, take the Exit 2 and walk approx. 250 m. to Swissotel Le Concorde Bangkok Ratchada. The hotel is located adjacent to the MRT station.

Taxi Kiosk is located at Passenger Terminal on the 1st Floor, Gate 4 and 7. Open 24 hours. Fare depends on distance, plus 50 THB surcharge for driver.

From Don Muang International Airport to Swissotel Le Concorde
- By Shuttle Bus within BKK
Located at Terminal 2, on the 1st Floor, Gate 12 and Terminal 1, on the 1st Floor, Gate 6. Fare is 30 THB.
There are two routes;
- A1: from Don Mueang Airport to BTS Mo Chit Station
- A2: from Don Mueang Airport to Victory Monument
You can take either route, get off at Chatuchak Park MRT Station, take the Blue Line to Huai Khwang MRT Station, take the Exit 2 and walk approx. 250 m. to Swissotel Le Concorde Bangkok Ratchada. The hotel is located adjacent to the MRT station.

The following are five simple steps you can get Thai SIM card and mobile data plan;
Step 1: Unlock your phone
The first step is to have your phone unlocked from service provider before boarding, Once, it is unlocked, your device will be enabled for a Thai SIM card, which is available in different sizes depending on the mobile phone.
Step 2: Get a SIM card at the airport or service provider stores
If you are staying in Thailand for a week or less, getting a mobile data plan at the airport is probably the best and most convenient option. Long-stay tourists, are advised to sign up for a mobile data plan at one of the service providers’ stores which can be found at local malls. At these stores, you will be introduced to flexible range of plans that suit your needs at a lower price. Your Passport will be required for a SIM card purchasing in Thailand.
Step 3: Choose the carrier and mobile data plan
There are three major service providers in Thailand: AIS, DTAC and TrueMove H. These providers offer a range of ‘pay as you go’ deals with 3G/4G support for both short and long-term availability, ranging from daily, weekly to monthly.
Step 4: Top up
Adding or “topping up” your mobile credit is a very easy which can be achieved quickly at 7 Eleven, service providers’ stores, or via Boonterm machines nationwide.
Step 5: Activate
SIM card activation may vary depending on which device and service providers you are using. Prepaid SIM cards for tourists usually offer a 30-day validity after each top-up. You can check your mobile balance and validity via these USSD codes;
